Lesotho Premier League: Saturday wrap-up

Struggling Likhopo, Lioli, Majantja and Linare all claimed a point yesterday’s Vodacom Premier League action, but it will have done little to improve their season woes. For Likhopo and Majantja it means they stay rooted in the relegation zone while traditional giants Linare and Lioli aren’t too far better off, hovering precariously just above the drop zone.

Likhopo and Lioli’s points came at Ratjomose where the two played out to a goalless draw. The point means Likhopo stay rooted to the bottom of the table with six points while Tse Nala remain in eighth place, now with 14 points.

In Mohale’s Hoek, Majantja and Linare played to a 1-1 draw. Majantja remain second bottom four points behind Tse Tala.

This afternoon Bantu host Mpharane Celtics in Mafeteng knowing a win would take them above their sixth-placed opponents, while in Khukhune two surprise packages meet when fifth-place Maduma welcome  Joy who are flying high in third place in the Vodacom Premier League. In today’s other match, Matlama host LMPS at the Setsoto Stadium.
